Bayern could yet wrap up a ninth treble, their second, with Jupp Heynckes becoming the first coach to do it twice for good measure. His charges wrapped up the Bundesliga title with five games to spare and on Tuesday booked a place in the German Cup final with a thumping 6-2 win at Leverkusen.
The decider against Eintracht Frankfurt takes place on 19 May in Berlin, seven days before a potential UEFA Champions League final in Kyiv against either Liverpool or Roma. Just the small matter of overcoming Real Madrid in the last four first, though.
