Sat: Bayern 6-0 Augsburg (Lewandowski 17 55 79, Müller 36 80, Thiago Alcántara 62)
Robert Lewandowski took his tally to 44 goals in 43 games this season as Bayern maintained their 13-point lead at the Bundesliga summit. Thomas Müller’s recent scoring revival continued, too, after the German international was twice denied by the woodwork. Manuel Neuer missed only his second game of the season following foot surgery.

Sat: Málaga 0-2 Atlético (Koke 26, Filipe Luís 74)
Diego Simeone’s side eased to a fourth successive Liga victory. Koke put the visitors ahead with a deft finish after a determined run, but Filipe Luís upstaged him with a lovely second, combining with Antoine Griezmann before a cute dink over the keeper – the Brazilian’s first club goal in 14 months.

Sat: Leicester 2-0 Stoke (Ndidi 25, Vardy 47)
Craig Shakespeare continued his 100% winning start since replacing Claudio Ranieri as Leicester edged further away from the relegation zone. Wilfred Ndidi’s fine long-range effort set the hosts on their way, and Jamie Vardy’s sixth goal in eight games sealed it.

DORTMUND v MONACO

Sat: Schalke 1-1 Dortmund (Kehrer 77; Aubameyang 53)
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang caught the eye as he marked his 24th Bundesliga goal of the season by celebrating with a mask, but the Ruhr derby ended in disappointment for the visitors. Ousmane Dembélé could have made it 2-0 only to hit the post and Schalke duly capitalised through 20-year-old defender Thilo Kehrer.

Sat: Monaco 1-4 Paris Saint-Germain (Lemar 27; Draxler 4, Di María 44, Cavani 54 90)
Monaco’s 14-year wait for major silverware goes on as Paris proved too strong in the French League Cup final. Leonardo Jardim’s side showed mettle to recover after falling behind early on, but Ángel Di María’s deflating strike on half-time proved decisive, Edinson Cavani putting further distance between the teams in the second period.
