Gaston Ramirez to Leicester City
The Daily Telegraph are reporting that Leicester City are ready to trigger a £15 million release clause to bring Middlesbrough attacker Gaston Ramirez to the King Power stadium this month. In an attempt to revitalise his squad, Claudio Ranieri has made enquiries about the Uruguayan. Signing the former Southampton man could trigger Leonardo Ulloa’s exit from the Premier League champions and help Boro land several targets they have already lined-up.
Alex Pritchard to Burnley
Sitting comfortably 10th in the Premier League, Sean Dyche is looking to add to Burnley’s attack in January, with The Sun reporting he is ready to move for Norwich City’s Alex Pritchard. The 23-year-old winger was a target for the Lancashire club last January, but joined West Brom on loan from Spurs before moving to the Canaries for £8m in the summer. Despite signing a contract until 2020, the fact he has only made six league starts in the Championship suggests could be tempted by a move to the Premier League.
Adama Traore to Chelsea
Sky Sports revealed that Middlesbrough’s Adama Traore, without a goal or an assist in 14 Premier League games this season, is a target for Chelsea boss Antonio Conte. The former Barcelona and Aston Villa winger has only made eight starts for Aitor Karanka’s team, but Chelsea want to add depth and pace to their squad and have apparently earmarked the 20-year-old as a potential signing.
Jan Oblak to Manchester City
Reports suggest that Pep Guardiola is ready to try again in his search for a goalkeeper, with a planned summer move for Atletico Madrid shot-stopper Jan Oblak. The Slovenia international, who replaced Thibaut Courtois in the Spanish capital, has a €100m release clause to deter any potential suitors. However, with Claudio Bravo conceding nearly every shot he faces, Manchester City may see it as money well spent.
Yoric Ravet to Swansea City
As Paul Clement looks to add talented players to his Swansea team in order to avoid relegation, the Mirror suggest that Young Boys midfielder Yoric Ravet has become a top target for the Welsh club. Although he only joined in the summer, Ravet’s 11 league assists and two goals is attracting attention from Premier League clubs. The former France Under-20 international failed to make the grade in Ligue 1, moved to the Swiss League in 2013 and has been involved in 87 goals in 139 games.
