WEDNESDAY
Niort 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain (Pastore 78, Cavani 90)
Second-tier Niort could not deny Paris a place in the French Cup quarter-finals on a soggy night as the Ligue 1 side extended their unbeaten run to 15 games. Javier Pastore got an outstretched foot to a free-kick to score his first since the French Super Cup game in August and then set up Edinson Cavani for a tap-in – his 12th strike in his last ten games.
